RollStart - Community Guidelines

Welcome to the RollStart community!

Our platform is designed to connect people around the world who share a love of roller skating. To keep this community safe, fun, and supportive, we ask all users to follow these Community Guidelines when using the RollStart Platform.

By using the Service, you agree to follow these Guidelines. Breaches may result in removal of content, suspension of your account, or permanent termination, in line with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Be Respectful

• Treat others with kindness and respect.
• Do not harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Hate speech, discrimination, or promoting violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or similar characteristics is strictly prohibited.

2. Keep Content Safe and Appropriate

• Do not post sexually explicit, pornographic, or excessively violent material.
• Do not share content that encourages dangerous or illegal activities, including self-harm, drug use, or criminal behaviour.
• Roller skating stunts and tricks are part of the sport, but content that glorifies unsafe behaviour without warnings may be restricted or removed.

3. Protect Intellectual Property and Privacy

• Only share content you own, or that you have permission to use.
• Do not upload copyrighted music, videos, or images without permission.
• Respect the privacy of others: do not post personal or private information (yours or someone else's) such as home addresses, phone numbers, or financial details.

4. No Spam or Misuse

• Do not use the Service to send spam, repetitive or irrelevant messages, or misleading links.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the platform's operation (e.g. by hacking, introducing malware, or automated scraping).
• Commercial promotions are only allowed where clearly permitted by RollStart.

5. Fair Play and Honest Logging

• RollStart challenges run on trust. Please log your activity honestly and in good faith.
• Keep it fun and fair! The leaderboard should reflect real effort and progress, at every level.
• If results don't look accurate, we may remove or adjust entries and related rewards, in line with our Terms and Conditions.

6. Age and Safety Requirements

• Users must meet the minimum age requirement set out in our Terms and Conditions.
• Parents and guardians are encouraged to monitor younger users to ensure their safety online.
• Parent-managed accounts can be created for children who wish to use the Service but are under the age of digital consent as set out in our Terms and Conditions.

7. Reporting and Enforcement

• If you see content or behaviour that violates these Guidelines, please report it using the in-platform tools or by contacting us directly at help@rollstart.net.
• RollStart reserves the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate these Guidelines or our Terms and Conditions.
• Repeated or severe violations may be reported to law enforcement where required by law.

8. Continuous Improvement

These Guidelines may be updated from time to time to reflect the needs of our community and changes in law or policy. We will notify users of significant changes.
